FOR EVERY OCCASION
How Long Should Your Fireworks Display Be?
A good finale is about how the show feels as well as how long it lasts. Start with the moment you want to create.

Start with the place it has in your event
A wedding finale, a town celebration and the end of a fair program may need different rhythms. Think about what guests have just experienced, where they will watch and what happens afterward. Is the display the evening's main attraction or the closing moment of a larger program? That answer helps us discuss a useful length.
Compare pacing, not just minutes
Length tells you how much time the show occupies. Pacing tells you how it feels. A shorter display can concentrate more effects into each minute; a longer one can allow quieter passages and a different build toward the finale. Neither is automatically better. Share the energy, atmosphere and look you enjoy so we can discuss the design alongside the duration.
Use your budget as a starting point
Professional EpicSky displays start at $3,000. As a planning guide, budget at least $1,000 per minute: five minutes suggests a $5,000 planning minimum, and ten minutes suggests $10,000. These are examples, not fixed packages. Effects, music, audio, travel and site arrangements help determine the complete price.
If music matters, discuss the song early
A pyromusical follows a soundtrack rather than simply adding background music. A meaningful song or musical direction can influence the display's shape and length. Tell us what you have in mind, and whether the event already has sound equipment. Traditional fireworks without music are also available.
Bring these questions to the first conversation
- What moment should the fireworks create?
- Where do they fit in the event schedule?
- What working budget do we have?
- Would we prefer traditional fireworks or a soundtrack?
- Do we have a venue and likely date?
Choose the design and length together
You do not need to decide on an exact number of minutes before asking for a quote. Bring your occasion, setting and priorities. We'll help you compare options and confirm the display design, length, price and inclusions.
